Rachel Kamstra
Ontario
Rachel joined City of Refuge in January 2021. Rachel is passionate about helping and caring for others and feels privileged to serve God in refugee ministry. She is married, has four children, and they are a foster family. Rachel enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing soccer, and volunteering for her church and school communities.

Esther VanMiddelkoop
Ontario
Esther joined City of Refuge in 2018. She desires to bring justice to those who are marginalized by doing good, showing hospitality, and treating others with dignity. She is married and has three children. Esther also teaches English to newcomers to Canada.

Stephanie Visscher
British Columbia
Stephanie joined City of Refuge in 2024. She desires to alleviate suffering and share the love of Jesus by helping others, especially refugees fleeing persecution. Stephanie is married and has four beautiful children. As a family, they enjoy playing board games, reading, exploring nature, and trying new foods.
